Julianne Hough Says Hayley Erbert Was ‘A Force’ Amid Health Struggles | Behind The Easel

Julianne Hough can now add author to her resume! The 36-year-old talked about her new fiction book “Everything We Never Knew” while painting on Access Hollywood’s Behind the Easel. Although the book is fiction, Julianne told Access she still had to reassure some of her loved ones that it wasn’t about them and talked about the difference between writing a book, dancing and acting. She also touched on Derek Hough’s wife Hayley Erbert’s recent health scare and praised her sister-in-law for her resilience. “She was really calm and grounded and just had so much trust,” she said. “She had this sense of ease and peace around her—not that we didn’t expect that from her—but it was just like wow, she showed up and almost created what the energy was going to be for all of us, versus us needing to make sure she was ok,” Julianne said. As for her life—Julianne told Access she’s “never felt happier” and admitted it would take someone “really special” to come into her life for her to date again. Julianne’s book, “Everything We Never Knew” is out now.
