The legendary actor passed away on the morning of Sept. 9 at his home surrounded by family, his rep confirmed to Access Hollywood. James was known for his resonant voice and many iconic movie roles, famously voicing Mufasa in “The Lion King” and Darth Vader in the original “Star Wars” trilogy.
