Influencer Jasmine Yong’s Son, 2, Dead After Drowning In Hotel Pool While Parents Slept

Jasmine Yong is mourning an unimaginable loss. The Malaysian influencer’s 2-year-old son, Enzo, has passed away after drowning in a hotel swimming pool. Jasmine announced the heartbreaking news on Instagram, sharing that Enzo died during a family trip for Mother’s Day when he wandered off as his parents slept. In a lengthy caption translated to English, Jasmine shared that she and her husband fell asleep with Enzo napping at their side. When she woke up, however, she discovered that the toddler was no longer in the room and that the previously locked door to the pool had been opened. Jasmine said that she then found Enzo in the pool and unresponsive. According to her account, she and her husband tried performing CPR themselves and took Enzo to the hotel lobby where staff called an ambulance. Sadly, Jasmine said that a poor network connection in their room prevented them from contacting emergency responders right away.
