Hugh Grant Blasts Immigration Officer Over Alleged ‘Intrusive’ Encounter With His Children

Hugh Grant is calling out an immigration officer at London’s Heathrow Airport after what he described as an “insulting” encounter. The actor took to X on Friday, April 4, to detail his alleged experience. “Just came through Heathrow with wife and children. We all have the same last name (Grant) on our passports. Immigration officer engages my children in chit chat then whispers to them ‘Are these your Mum and Dad?’ Intrusive, insulting and creepy,” he wrote. The “Love Actually” star is married to Anna Eberstein and they share three children together: 12-year-old son John Mungo, 9-year-old daughter Lulu Danger, and 6-year-old daughter Blue. He also shares two children, 13-year-old Tabitha Xiao Xi and 11-year-old Felix Chang, with ex Tinglan Hong. Access Hollywood has reached out to Grant’s representatives for further comment. People reported that a spokesperson for Heathrow noted to the outlet that Border Force officers are employed by the Home Office and not the airport. The Home Office did not issue immediate public comment on the matter.
