Helen Mirren Admits She ‘Learned Her Lesson’ About Cursing After Coming To America

Dame Helen Mirren doesn’t shy away from cursing. Access Hollywood spoke to the actress at the Los Angeles premiere of “Shazam! Fury of the Gods” and she joked about how often she swears. “It’s not that I like profanity. I don’t particularly like it but I’m British and I think in Britain we use those words more casually, more benignly. We think of them more as conversation. I learned my lesson when I came to America,” she said. “Shazam! Fury of the Gods” is in theaters March 17.
