Hayley Erbert Returns To Dance Floor With Derek Hough 3 Month After Skull Surgery

Hayley Erbert has headed back to the dance floor with Derek Hough by her side! The 29-year-old dancer’s husband took to his Instagram on Mar. 20, sharing a sweet black and white photo of he and his wife cuddled up together in a dance studio just three months after her emergency brain surgery. “Stepping onto this blank canvas together. Beginning to paint again @hayley.erbert,” Derek penned in the caption. Hayley’s return to dance is a big step for her following such a major health scare, as she underwent an emergency craniectomy on Dec. 6. Derek announced at the time that that his wife felt disoriented after a performance of their symphony of dance tour in Washington, D.C. and was taken to the hospital, where she was diagnosed with a cranial hematoma from a burst blood vessel. She has since underwent an additional surgery to replace a large portion of her skull.
