HARDY Gets Candid About The Importance Of Mental Health: The Stigma Around Anxiety ‘Needs To Go Away’

HARDY is a winner twice over at the 2023 CMA Awards! Backstage at the show, the “Wait in the Truck” singer told Access Hollywood guest correspondent Emily Orozco how it felt to win Musical Event of the Year and Music Video of the Year for the song – and how it felt to see his collaborator Lainey Wilson take home Entertainer of the Year! He also dished on his performance with Post Malone and weighed in on how the rapper could have a country album on the way. Plus, HARDY opened up about the importance of mental health and eliminating stigma around anxiety, as well as how his mental health advocacy within the country community stemmed in part from his journey since his tour bus accident last year. “I try to find meaning in everything, and I couldn’t really find meaning in what happened with the bus accident, and I struggled with that. I think now I know that a big part of that is me becoming a voice,” he shared in part.
