Gypsy Rose Blanchard Gets Honest About Life After Prison, Taylor Swift, ‘The Act’ & More
Gypsy Rose Blanchard is sharing her story. The 32-year-old, who until last month had been serving a 10-year prison sentence, opened up to Access Hollywood about her release and her new life now, as well as her prison experience and the friendships she made while incarcerated. She also discussed her new Lifetime docuseries “The Prison Confessions of Gypsy Rose Blanchard,” as well as her forthcoming book. Gypsy also discussed listening to Taylor Swift during her sentence and called her music a “guiding light.” Plus, she shared why she won’t be watching Hulu’s “The Act” – but said Joey King, who portrayed her in the series, got her voice “spot-on.” Lifetime’s six-hour, three-night special “The Prison Confessions of Gypsy Rose Blanchard” premieres Jan. 5 at 8/7c and concludes on Jan. 7. Each night’s episodes stream on Lifetime the following day. “Released: Conversations on the Eve of Freedom” is out Jan. 9. Tune in to see more of Gypsy’s interview on “Access Hollywood” next week.
