‘General Hospital’s’ Stuart Damon Dies At 84

“General Hospital” star, Stuart Damon, has died. He was 84. The soap star has been struggling with renal failure for several years according to ABC7’s George Pennacchio, who was the first person to report the news, shared the news of Stuart’s death on his Facebook page. George shared that Stuart’s son, Christopher, told him that Stuart loved being part of the soap, which he was on from 1997-2007. “It was his favorite place to be. He loved playing Alan and was always so appreciative of that role and that job. It was his passion.” Stuart is survived by his wife, actress and singer Deirdre Ottewill, and his two kids—Jennifer and Christopher.
