The “Poor Things” star gave her pal a funny shoutout at the 2024 Golden Globes, when a backstage reporter asked her about the music superstar’s viral reaction to Emma’s Best Actress win. Taylor was visibly thrilled, and Emma joked about getting such heartfelt support from her famous friend. “What an a**hole, am I right?” she teased, before switching her tone to express sincere gratitude and acknowledge how long she and Taylor have been close. “No, I’ve known her for almost 20 years, so I was very happy she was there and she was also nominated tonight, which was wonderful.” Taylor’s “Eras Tour” concert film was up for box office achievement honors, but despite losing to “Barbie” the singer appeared to have a total blast at the Globes, posing with pals Selena Gomez and Keleigh Teller, taking a selfie with Bill Hader, and rooting for a slew of other winners. And, she wasn’t the only famous member of Emma’s squad to cheer her on! The actress’ fellow nominee and friend Jennifer Lawrence went viral for not only playfully threatening to leave the show if she didn’t win, but also her pure enthusiasm when Emma’s name was called instead.
