Dove Cameron Reveals She Played Hit Song ‘Boyfriend’ For Person She Wrote It About

Dove Cameron is revealing new details about her song, “Boyfriend,” including the fact that she played it for the person who inspired it before it was released. While speaking Access Hollywood’s Scott Evans on the red carpet of the AMAs, the 26-year-old explained that she plays all of her songs for the people in her life who she writes about, including the 2022 hit. “I have a really good relationship with everybody who I write about and I always, always make sure to play if for them,” she said.
