Donald Trump Breaks Silence After Being ‘Shot With a Bullet’ At Rally
Former President Donald Trump has broken his silence after he was rushed off a stage at a rally in Pennsylvania minutes after gun shots were heard on July 13. In video from the rally, the 78-year-old was seen ducking underneath the podium before Secret Service rushed to cover him. When he got up, he was seen with blood on the side of his head and ear but is reportedly safe and fine. The Secret Service confirmed in a post on X and that he is currently being “checked out at a local medical facility. “I was shot with a bullet that pierced the upper part of my right ear,” the former president wrote on social media. “I knew immediately that something was wrong in that I heard a whizzing sound, shots, and immediately felt the bullet ripping through the skin. Much bleeding took place, so I realized then what was happening. GOD BLESS AMERICA!” The shooter and a spectator from the rally are dead and two other people are in serious condition, per NBC News.
