Does Coco Gauff Get Cardboard Bed Upgrade For Being Paris Olympics Flag Bearer?

Access Hollywood’s Scott Evans spoke to Coco Gauff following her press conference ahead of the 2024 Paris Olympics opening ceremony where she will be joining LeBron James as a flag bearer for Team USA. “It takes a minute for it to set in. I’m really grateful for this opportunity,” she said. Coco also reflected on what it was like posing for Annie Leibovitz for the April 2024 Vogue cover. The tennis star also revealed which other athletes she has been excited to meet so far in Paris, “Simone Biles and Katie Ledecky are the coolest people that I met. I played it cool though, I didn’t do any fangirling or anything…I just got a picture with Katie, that’s it. I didn’t want to ask Simone for one because I didn’t want to be that person.” Coco also shared that even though she’s a flag bearer, she doesn’t get a bed upgrade, “We’re still on the cardboard, it doesn’t work like that.” The 2024 Paris Olympics opening ceremony airs Friday, July 25th on NBC and streaming on Peacock.
