Denise Nickerson has died at age 62. The actress, best known for her role as the gum-obsessed Violet Beauregarde in the 1971 film “Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory,” passed away on July 10, 2019, following complications from a massive seizure, according to her family. Nickerson’s son, Josh, and his wife, Jasmine, announced the sad news on Facebook, writing, “She’s gone.”
