Danielle Fishel Shares Health Update After Breast Cancer Treatment: ‘I No Longer Have Cancer’
Danielle Fishel is opening up about her breast cancer journey and raising awareness on the importance of early detection. The “Boy Meets World” actress shared an update on her recovery during an interview with “Good Morning America” on Oct. 16. “My recovery is going well. I no longer have cancer,” says Fishel, also revealing she still needs to make a decision on radiation treatment. The 43-year-old mother of two first revealed her diagnosis during an August episode of “Pod Meets World,” the podcast she hosts with former costars Rider Strong and Will Friedle. Fishel was diagnosed with ductal carcinoma in situ, an early form of breast cancer, which, according to the Cleveland Clinic, is usually curable with appropriate treatment.
