Cynthia Erivo Gives Hoda Kotb Flowers At Her Final Thanksgiving Day Parade & Talks ‘Wicked’ Success
Cynthia Erivo is giving Hoda Kotb her flowers. The “Wicked” star stopped by the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on Nov. 28 and gave the “Today” show host a stunning bouquet of flowers to commemorate her last time hosting the iconic parade on NBC. “Before you even begin, yes, these flowers are for you because I know that this is the last Thanksgiving parade you’re doing,” Cynthia said. “I wanted to celebrate that, and I wanted to say we love you. Thank you for all of the hard work you’ve done all of these years,” she added. Hoda announced she was leaving the “Today” show after 17 years in September. The host got emotional while receiving the flowers but quickly changed the subject and started talking about “Wicked” asking Cynthia what the film’s success has meant to her. Cynthia also weighed in on if she thinks it’s okay for fans to sing in the theater.
