Cheryl Hines Appears To Ditch Wedding Ring After RFK Jr.’s Alleged Relationship with Journalist

Cheryl Hines has appeared to ditch her wedding ring after news broke of her husband Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s alleged relationship with New York Magazine reporter, Olivia Nuzzi. The actress was spotted in Milan over the weekend where her prominent silver, wedding band appeared to be traded in for a different accessory. The “Curb Your Enthusiasm” star also celebrated her 59th birthday on Sept. 21 in Italy without her husband, who was in Las Vegas campaigning for former president Donald Trump. On Thursday, Sept. 19, New York Magazine addressed the alleged relationship between their prominent political reporter and the former 2024 independent presidential candidate as they noted she was placed on leave while a third-party investigates. “Recently our Washington Correspondent Olivia Nuzzi acknowledged to the magazine’s editors that she had engaged in a personal relationship with a former subject relevant to the 2024 campaign while she was reporting on the campaign, a violation of the magazine’s standards around conflicts of interest and disclosures,” the magazine said in part. Nuzzi, who was engaged to Politico reporter Ryan Lizza until the news broke, told CNN in a statement that the relationship was “never physical” but acknowledged that she should have disclosed it, adding, “I deeply regret not doing so immediately and apologize to those I’ve disappointed, especially my colleagues at New York.” Meanwhile, an RFK Jr. spokesperson told NBC News, “Mr. Kennedy only met Olivia Nuzzi once in his life for an interview she requested, which yielded a hit piece.”
