Chappell Roan Blasts ‘Abuse & Harassment’ From ‘Entitled’ & ‘Creepy’ Fans In Candid TikTok

Chappell Roan is saying “Good Luck, Babe!” to anyone overstepping their fandom. The pop sensation, 26, called out the unsettling attention she’s received since skyrocketing to a new level of fame in recent months, explaining in a pair of candid TikToks on Aug. 19 why she believes her celebrity status does not mean anyone has permission to invade her privacy. Chappell, whose real name is Kayleigh Amstutz, explained that she’s faced “creepy behavior” that she feels crosses a line and now, she’s standing up for her right to enforce boundaries. “I don’t care that abuse and harassment, stalking, whatever, is a normal thing to do to people who are famous or a little famous,” she said in part. “I don’t care that it’s normal. I don’t care that this crazy type of behavior comes along with the job, [or] the career field I’ve chosen. That does not make it OK. That doesn’t make it normal. That doesn’t mean I want it. Doesn’t mean that I like it.”
