Céline Dion is sharing the importance of hope in her first on-stage appearance since performing at the 2024 Paris Olympics. The 56-year-old presented an award at the City of Hope’s 2024 Spirit of Life Gala on Oct. 22. The iconic singer walked out onto the stage to a standing ovation. While speaking to the attendees, she spoke about the importance of the work the organization does in cancer research and treatment. “It provides the most precious ingredient, it provides hope. And I know how important that is,” said Dion who stepped back into the spotlight at the Olympics for the first time after being diagnosed with stiff-person syndrome.
