Britney Spears Details ‘Passionate’ Fling With Colin Farrell After Justin Timberlake Split In Book
Britney Spears is sharing new details about her 2003 fling with Colin Farrell. In an excerpt from her book, obtained by Time, the pop star reportedly recalls her brief romance with “The Banshees of Inisherin” actor, saying the pair “had a two-week brawl.” “Brawl is the only word for it—we were all over each other, grappling so passionately it was like we were in a street fight,” she reportedly writes. The duo allegedly met while the now 47-year-old was filming his movie “S.W.A.T.,” just after her split from Justin Timberlake. “As I had before when I’d felt too attached to a man, I tried to convince myself in every way that it was not a big deal, that we were just having fun, that in this case, I was vulnerable because I wasn’t over Justin yet,” she says in the book according to the publication. Time reports that the “Toxic” singer also accuses JT of sleeping with “six or seven girls” after they broke up in the memoir, and admits she was torn up about their relationship ending. Brit joined Colin at the 2003 premiere of his film, “The Recruit” where he denied they were in a relationship. “We’re not dating. She’s a sweet, sweet girl. There’s nothing going on—just mates,” he reportedly said at the time per Entertainment Weekly.
