Brandy Talks Reprising Iconic Cinderella Role In ‘Descendants: The Rise Of The Red’
Brandy and Paolo Montalban are back as Cinderella and King Charming but this time in “Descendants: The Rise of Red.” The two reunited on screen for the first time in decades after starring 1997’s “Cinderella” and Paolo told Access Daily’s Mario Lopez and Kit Hoover that the reunion “absolutely magical and surreal.” He also revealed he gave Brandy flowers and candy onset of the original movie. The two now play parents to Chloe Charming in the Disney+ film and their on-screen daughter, Malia Baker, told Access she grew up on their “Cinderella” film. “It’s pretty crazy to see the reflection, it really is a full circle moment,” Malia said. When she isn’t playing a Disney princess, Brandy is starring in Ariana Grande’s a music video. The 45-year-old chatted about how Ariana approached her to star in the “The Boy Is Mine” music video and talked reuniting with Monica. “Descendants: The Rise of Red” will premiere July 12th on Disney+ and air on the Disney Channel Aug. 9.
