Angelina Jolie is stepping up for a cause close to her heart. The activist ventured to Washington, D.C., this week, where she met with lawmakers to urge for the renewal of the Violence Against Women Act. She also took time to greet law enforcement who defended the Capitol during the Jan. 6 riot and thank them for their service.
