16 Handles Frozen Yogurt Founder Solomon Choi Dies Unexpectedly At 44

The founder of the popular frozen yogurt chain 16 Handles has died. Solomon Choi passed away on June 7 at the age of 44, according to his obituary. A cause of death has not been named as of June 13, but current 16 Handles owner and CEO Neil Hershman said in a statement that the loss is “unexpected.” Choi is survived by his wife, Hannah, their two young children, 7-year-old Jubilee and 4-year-old Joshua, his parents and two sisters. Choi will be laid to rest on Sunday June 15
