“Heroes” will soon make a small screen return, rebooted as “Heroes: Reborn,” a miniseries on NBC.
Zachary Quinto played a major role in the original series as Sylar – but will the actor be seen in the new show?
“I don’t really know the trajectory of that,” Zachary told Access Hollywood at the Television Critics Association event in Beverly Hills, as he sat down to discuss his Starz reality filmmaking competition, “The Chair.” “I’ve been in touch with Tim Kring, the creator of ‘Heroes,’ because he’s a great guy and changed my life and sent me on a path that I never would have been on otherwise.
“I don’t know if or how the new iteration of the show will fit into my schedule or my creative journey right now, but I’m certainly in touch with him and eternally grateful to him, regardless of what happens,” he added.
Whether he appears in the series or not, Zachary said he’s happy that fans will get the chance to see more of the show.
“I wish them all the best with that. It’s exciting,” he said. “I know the fans are really excited to have that show come back in some capacity.”
Beyond talk of “Heroes,” Zachary revealed he’s been working with Lena Dunham and crew.
“I just finished a couple of episodes of ‘Girls’ Season 4 which I’m really excited about,” he said.
