“Star Trek 3” fever is heating up again.
Zachary Quinto teased Trekkers with an Instagram pic on Tuesday, showing he’s back in Spock mode.
“in honor of my first day back and the memory of my dear friend leonard go to:
http://bit.ly/LoveOfSpock and support his son adam’s documentary: FOR THE LOVE OF SPOCK!” Zachary wrote to accompany the post. (Adam Nimoy is hoping to make a documentary about his father’s career, and his years as his most famous character, Spock.)

And Lena Dunham joined in on the fun on Wednesday. She posted a pic of Zachary, opposite her own image on Instagram. Both actors shared the “live long and prosper” hand gesture.

“Star Trek 3,” starring Zachary, Chris Pine, Zoe Saldana, Simon Pegg, John Cho and Anton Yelchin, and directed by Justin Lin, is due out on July 8, 2016. That date comes just before the 50th anniversary of the original “Star Trek,” which premiered on NBC on September 8, 1966.
