The curious case of Hollywood’s oddest TV movie ever – with Will Ferrell and Kristen Wiig – continues!
Back in April, it was announced that the comedic pair would star in the Lifetime Original Movie, “A Deadly Adoption,” much to the world’s shock, confusion and delight.
But then, Will issued a statement saying he and Kristen were “deeply disappointed” that the “top secret” project was leaked and that they were forced “forego the project entirely.”

(Cue us crying next to our DVR.)
Cut to Tuesday, when an epic billboard appeared in Hollywood showing the actors with ominous stares above a boat dock where a pregnant woman (played by “90210” alum Jessica Lowndes) is seen next to an eerie lake – never a good sign in a Lifetime movie!
The movie’s tagline, “The birth of a plan gone wrong,” is also not a good sign for that innocent looking pregnant woman – get off that dock, girl!

So is this billboard confirmation that the TV movie is actually happening?
On Wednesday, Lifetime confirmed to Access Hollywood the details on billboard (yep, we’re confused too!) but noted the TV movie will air on Saturday, June 20 (despite the billboard saying Sunday, June 20).
As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, the two-hour TV movie is supposedly about a pregnant woman who Will and Kristen’s characters care for with plans to adopt her unborn child.
But since it’s Lifetime, and there’s the word “deadly” in the title (not to mention that scary death dock in the poster!) – you can see where this story is going – if it’s even going anywhere at all!
