The U.S. Olympic swim team is trading the pool for the road.
Michael Phelps, Missy Franklin, Ryan Lochte and their Rio-bound teammates have skills outside the water too, showing off their pipes
in a new carpool karaoke video dropped on Thursday.
In the clip, more than 40 swimmers in eight separate cars
are seen belting out hit after hit while traveling to Brazil for this year’s
Summer Games.

Justin Bieber’s “What Do U Mean,” Miley Cyrus’
“Party in the U.S.A.” and Cheap Trick’s “In the Street,”
perhaps best known these days as the theme song to “That ’70s Show,”
are just three of the featured tunes, but not everyone is on board with the
playlist.
When Carly Rae Jepsen’s earworm “Call Me Maybe”
hits the airwaves, Franklin turns the dial immediately.

“Get it off, get it off,” the four-time gold
medalist urges, as she and her fellow passengers launch into a synchronized
performance of Fifth Harmony’s “Bo$$” instead.
Phelps, on the other hand, reveals his surprising country
chops with a rendition of Zac Brown Band’s “Chicken Fried.”
The U.S. swim team kicks off competition Saturday, Aug. 6.
on NBC.
