Uma Thurman
is reportedly on the mend.
According to
the New York Post’s Page Six, the 46-year-old actress suffered multiple
injuries after a horseback riding incident and appears to be recuperating.
“Uma was in an equestrian accident. She was training on
a young thoroughbred who got spooked. She was thrown and broke a few
bones,” Uma’s rep explained to the publication on Tuesday.
A source reportedly
spotted Uma walking “gingerly” into a St. Barths restaurant with her
children, looking “like she had hip surgery.”
The “Kill Bill” star’s IMDb page currently lists two
films in pre-production, “The Bay of Silence” and “The
Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir.” It is currently unclear whether her recovery will
affect either project’s shooting schedule.

Uma made headlines for
a different mishap in May, when Italian entrepreneur Lapo Elkann gave her an
unexpected kiss at the Cannes Film Festival’s star-studded amfAR Gala.
The Oscar nominee was reportedly
irritated with Lapo’s gesture, which her rep told People at the time left her
feeling “violated.”
“It is opportunism at its worst. She
wasn’t complicit in it,” the rep said. “She is very unhappy that this happened to her.”
