At just 17 years old, actor Angus T. Jones might be the one soon giving his parents an allowance.
Court papers obtained by Access Hollywood on Friday reveal that the teen star, who plays Charlie Sheen’s nephew, Jake Harper, on CBS’ hit comedy, “Two and a Half Men,” will earn $7.8 million over the next two seasons.
The contract, signed by a then 16-year-old Angus in May, had to be approved by an L.A. County Superior Court judge because Angus is a minor.
Documents stipulate that the teen actor will earn $300,000 per half-hour episode for the next two seasons of the show (a total of 26 episodes). Angus will also receive an additional $500,000 signing bonus, bringing the grand total to $8.3 million for the 2010/11 and 2011/12 seasons.
Series star Charlie Sheen also recently renegotiated his contract with the show, earning a cool $2 million per episode (for a total of $52 million over the next two seasons), according to TMZ.
