Emotions were running high on Monday’s “The Voice” with the Final 4 battling it out.
Access Hollywood caught up with the contestants after the show, where they weighed in on their stellar performances and the road ahead.
Eighteen-year-old Trevin Hunte (Team Cee Lo), who sang “Wind Beneath My Wings,” was happy to have the performance behind him.
“I’m glad it’s over and I get an opportunity to relax,” he told Access.
Win or lose, Trevin is happy with what he’s accomplished.
“I’m trying to be confident,” he continued. “I came this far, I don’t think I’m a loser or that I would be a loser if I went home.”
Overcoming nerves is something Cassadee Pope (Team Blake) is also dealing with.
“The closer I’m getting, the more nervous I’m getting and the more emotional I get,” the 23-year-old, who sang Keith Urban’s “Stupid Boy,” told Access.
Nicholas David (Team Cee Lo), who sang “You Are So Beautiful,” was so swept away following his performance that he had to take a seat.
“Very emotionally moving. It was powerful, the emotion came and overtook me, [I had] a lot going on in my mind, even more going on in my heart, to stand there I was like, ‘I don’t know if I can do this,’” he explained. “I saw the rocking chair and was like, ‘I hope this thing can hold me.’”
Nicholas, like Trevin, will be OK regardless of Tuesday’s results.
“I’m at such peace… They way I’ve looked at this thing, is that it’s not a competition, but an experience and an opportunity,” he added.
Terry McDermott (Team Blake) told Access he was thrilled to tackle “Let it Be.”
“It felt quite dramatic,” he said of performing the iconic song. “I couldn’t be prouder, it’s Paul McCartney and The Beatles, it was such a part of my childhood… It’s a day I will remember for the rest of my life.”
