After nearly four years of on-again, off-again dating and two reported breakups, shock rocker Marilyn Manson, 41, and his 22-year-old “True Blood” fiancee have ended their 7-month engagement, a source told People.
Marilyn was seen having dinner with friends — including former Playmate of the Year, Colleen Shannon — at LA’s STK restaurant on Saturday night. The group then reportedly partied at hot spot Boudoir.
“They just broke off their engagement, and he needed a night out with friends,” another source told the mag.
The curious couple began dating in late 2006 (after Marilyn’s then-wife, burlesque beauty Dita Von Teese, filed for divorce), but split in 2008.
“Manson and I both decided to take some time apart so we could concentrate on work,” the actress said in a statement to People following their initial breakup in 2008.
Reported rumors of a possible romance for Evan soon swirled, linking her with ‘True Blood” co-star Alexander Skarsgard, as well as former “Once and Again” co-star Shane West.
Following their 2008 split, Marilyn and Evan reportedly briefly rekindled their romance before splitting yet again.
They began dating for the third time late last year, and the rocker reportedly proposed to the ingenue in January 2010 while performing on stage in Paris.
A rep for Evan had no comment when contacted by Access Hollywood. Reps for Marilyn were not immediately available for comment.
Evan will next be seen on the small screen playing the daughter of Kate Winslet’s character in HBO’s “Mildred Pierce.”
