Bella Ramsey knows it’s important to keep it light while preparing for emotional scenes for Season 2 of “The Last Of Us.”
The 21-year-old chatted with Access Hollywood’s Scott Evans at the show’s Season 2 premiere in Los Angeles and revealed why they listened to “Peanut Butter Jelly Time” to prepare for dark scenes.
“Sometimes when you have to do really deep, emotional stuff doing the complete opposite to like to prepare is the best because then you’re not in a deep, dark place all day because you get exhausted like that. That’s not helpful for me anyways,” Bella told Access.
Pedro Pascal also gushed over working with Catherine O’Hara this season, calling her an icon.
“I just think she’s a genius and I don’t use that word lightly,” he said. “She is everything that you could possibly dream. She’s kind and hilarious and it was just unspeakably special to have her as a scene partner.”
Season 2 of “The Last Of Us” premieres April 13 at p.m. ET on HBO and streams on Max.
