It’s a boy for The Civil Wars’ Joy Williams!
The singer and her husband, Nate Yetton, welcomed son Miles Alexander on Saturday in Nashville, according to the Associated Press.
“Mama and son are happy and healthy,” the couple said in a statement, while Joy adds she “never really knew the meaning of love at first sight until today.”
Joy announced her pregnancy in February via Twitter, Tweeting, “Beyond elated to share that Nate & I are expecting our first child in late June!!! My baby bump & I will see you on the red carpet. :)”
The Grammy Award-winning duo – who performed with Taylor Swift on the haunting ballad “Safe & Sound” for “The Hunger Games” soundtrack, took a hiatus from performing following the announcement of Joy’s pregnancy.
Miles is the first child for Joy and Nate, who acts as The Civil Wars’ manager.
