After months of rumors about dating Joe Jonas, the middle Jonas Brother, country sweetheart Taylor Swift has opened up about their relationship — and how he broke her heart.
“You learn, you really do,” she said on “On-Air With Ryan Seacrest” on Wednesday, admitting that she had dated the teen star. “I’m trying to shake it off.”
She’s even written a song about it, “Forever and Always,” which appears on her latest album, “Fearless,” due Nov. 11.
“I think it kind of helps to tell the story a little bit,” she said. “It kind of helps me. i can just get it out of my system.”
As for being single again, Taylor said now she knows what not to look for.
“If they’re not allowed to go in public with me, that’s sort of an issue,” she said. “That could be a possible turn-off.”
She also said she’s looking for a guy who shares her sense of humor — which she showed off in a MySpace Celebrity Icon video blog, where she was holding up a Jonas Brothers doll.
“This one even comes with a phone, so he can break up with other dolls,” she deadpanned while holding the doll.
