Steven Tyler is working on a country music album, and he’s strapping on his boots for a country music-themed TV role as well.
The Aerosmith frontman will make a cameo on ABC’s “Nashville.”
Steven spilled the news on Twitter, posting a photo of himself with series star Hayden Panettiere.

The former “American Idol” judge’s caption seemed to hint at a possible duet of Patsy’s famed ballad, “Crazy,” written by Willie Nelson (Hayden’s “Nashville character, Juliette Barnes, is starring as Patsy in a biopic on the series).
Steven joins a host of famous faces who’ve made appearances on the Connie Britton-led drama, including country music superstar Luke Bryan, Christina Aguilera, Brad Paisley, Rascal Flatts, Kelly Clarkson and more.
“Nashville” Season 4 premieres September 23 at 10 PM on ABC.
