Life isn’t all beaches and bikinis for Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Hannah Davis.
The SI Swimsuit Issue cover star is also featured in a DirecTV ad that is printed in the annual issue. In one shot for the ad campaign, Hannah posed in a skimpy two-piece on the sand. The tag line reads, “I’m Hannah Davis and I have DirecTV.” In another image, Hannah is depicted as a cat lady, showing her seated on a sofa in a frumpy sweater and surrounded by more than a dozen feline friends. The tag line reads, “And I’m cat lady Hannah Davis and I have cable.”
The model spoke about being seen in those different ways in the magazine, when Access Hollywood caught up with her in New York City on Tuesday.

“I was the cool version of myself who has DirecTV as like the Sports Illustrated girl and then the cat lady, as the girl who’s got cable, so I looked pretty sad and I was actually covered in cat food on that shoot,” she told Access. “It was a terrible, terrible experience. So that miserable face was the real one.”
With Sports Illustrated making history by including plus-size model Robyn Lawley in this year’s edition, Hannah also spoke to Access about the variety of silhouettes represented in the magazine.

“Well, I don’t like the word plus-size, but I think she’s beautiful and I think everyone’s really excited that she’s in the issue this year,” Hannah told Access. “Sports Illustrated has always kind of been known to use different body types. When you see the girls that walk… down the red carpet, you see that they come in all different shapes and sizes, like boobs, no boobs, butts, curves. So, I think that they’ve always been truly open minded to all different sizes, so I think it’s great.”
The 2015 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue is available on newsstands now.
