Lindsay Lohan has checked into rehab, a source told Access Hollywood on Tuesday.
The source added that Lohan has checked into a live-in rehab facility in Southern California.
KTLA.com and TMZ both reported the actress had checked into a treatment facility, but it was unclear whether she checked in on Monday night or Tuesday morning.
As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, a source told Access on Sunday that the actress was planning to head into treatment again. News that she has finally entered rehab comes just days after her release from the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, Calif., on $300,000 bail late Friday night.
Last Friday evening, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Patricia M. Schnegg reversed Judge Elden S. Fox’s decision from Friday morning to hold Lohan in custody without bail for violating the terms of her probation by failing a drug test.
Lohan was released after posting $300,000 bail, and as part of the conditions of her bail, a SCRAM alcohol monitoring was fitted to Lohan’s ankle. Photos of the actress posing on the grass, with her sister, Ali Lohan, seated next to her, and the SCRAM on her ankle, appeared on UK newspaper The Sun’s website on Monday.
Us Weekly reported that Lohan had approached paparazzi agencies offering them photos of herself with the SCRAM for $10,000.
“Lindsay Lohan was calling around the pap agencies all weekend trying to get $10,000 up front to pose up in the SCRAM bracelet,” a source told the mag. “All of the major players passed, and she ended up doing the setup with a small agency.”
In addition to having the SCRAM attached, as part of Schnegg’s conditions of Lohan’s bail, the actress was ordered not to possess “any controlled substances or associated paraphernalia, except with a valid prescription,” according to the court order, previously obtained by Access Hollywood.
Lohan was also ordered to steer clear of places where “users or buyers congregate” except in an “authorized” treatment program.
The actress has also been banned from drinking alcohol and being in places where alcohol is the main beverage sold.
Lohan’s next hearing is on October 22.
