Source: Jim Carrey’s Ex-Girlfriend Cathriona White Was Married At Time Of Death, But Separated

Cathriona White, the ex-girlfriend of Jim Carrey, was married at the time of her death, but she was heading toward divorce, according to a source.

A source told Access Hollywood on Monday that White was separated and was planning to file for divorce when she was dating Carrey.

An official at the Medical Examiner’s office told The Hollywood Reporter that they will release her body to her husband.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, White was found dead in her home on September 28, from a reported suicide.

The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office confirmed to Access that Ambien, Percocet and Propranolol were found near White’s body. Access’ source said the medication belonged to Carrey (prescribed to him under an alias, a typical practice used for celebrities and high profile patients). Carrey, however, was not aware the medications had been taken from his home.

White’s official cause of death has been deferred, pending toxicology reports.
