Sigourney played orchestra member Dana Barrett in the original 1984 film, although as fans famously know, she ended up possessed by Zuul, the gatekeeper, who sought out the keymaster as she waited for the arrival of Gozer, the destructor.
The new “Ghostbusters” film stars Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones.
