Get ready for an all-new dining experience from Shake Shack.
The New York-city bred Burger Joint, hailed for it’s tasty burgers and appearances at it’s original Madison Square Park location in nearly every single TV show and rom-com movie, is bringing a bit of Mexico to it’s menu in a 1-night only experience in Los Angeles.
Shake Shack is partnering with Pujol’s Enrique Olvera for a three-course dining experience developed by Shake Shack and Olvera inspired by Olvera’s Mexican roots and vast gastronomic experience.
Those in the know have been dashing to Mexico City to enjoy in Olvera’s stunning menu at his celebrated restaurant, Pujol, which is one of the crown jewels in his 13-restaurant global empire, under his umbrella group Casamata.
The menu will star the Ant Burger, topped with Chicatana Ant mayo, a signature condiment from Pujol’s menu, as the main course. Additional courses include a Corn Husk Merinque Shake, Sweet Potato Fries with Guacachile Salsa and a Potato & Broccoli Cream Tamal.
The ant-mayo burger, features a signature ingredient of Olvera’s – ants! While it seems like a pesky little bug to swat away at a Sunday BBQ, Olvera brings the ants to life in a silky smooth blend of mayo that beings both flavor and fun to a classic staple like a burger.
“Every time I come to New York I always enjoy ShackBurgers at lunch. I love not only the taste and simplicity, but that Shake Shack shares my view that food should focus on letting high quality ingredients shine. This shared mindset made collaborating with Shake Shack fluid and fun. We were excited to incorporate elements that are emblematic of our restaurants, like the Chicatana Ant Mayonnaise that we use at Pujol, and the Corn Husk Meringue from our favorite Cosme dessert. I’m very happy with the result, and excited to share this menu with our fans,” Olvera shared in a release for Shake Shack.
Tickets for this unique culinary experience can now be purchased via the following link for $75 each (only 66 tickets are available).
