Seth Rogen is disputing reports his “pot stench” delayed an office move by Amy Pascal at Sony.
On Wednesday, the actor/screenwriter/producer took to Twitter and Instagram to address a report from The Hollywood Reporter that claimed his former work area was left with a strong marijuana odor, prompting a delay in Pascal’s move.
“I don’t know what’s more irresponsible: that they would print a story that is completely untrue, or that they would refer to how pot smells as a ‘stench,'” the star wrote on Instagram, next to a screengrab of the THR headline that read, “Sony’s Amy Pascal Delays Office Move Due to Seth Rogen Pot Stench.”

THR reported earlier on Wednesday that Pascal’s new office was not ready for her to move into because of a herb smell. Rogen and his writing partner, Evan Goldberg, reportedly were previous occupants.
A repainting was reportedly set to occur, according to the trade publication. A source also told the THR that the pair hadn’t spent enough time in the offices to leave a permanent imprint, and painting was mostly about redecorating.

Pascal is one of the Sony Pictures execs whose emails were leaked during the hacking scandal of 2014, a hack that was reportedly due to the North Korean’s strong views on Rogen and Goldberg’s film, “The Interview.” Pascal is exiting her post and moving into a producer role.
Sony had no comment when asked about Pascal’s move by Access.
