Seth MacFarlane has a very particular set of skills, and on Monday night he got to show them off on “The Tonight Show.”
The “Family Guy” mastermind is an ideal guest to face off against host and fellow voice talent Jimmy Fallon for the Wheel of Impressions, and the “Ted 2” star did not disappoint.
Handling the Impression Generator’s random assignments with expected ease, Seth came bursting out the gate with a spot-on Liam Neeson that even Fallon himself found hard to top.

The added challenge of scripting Neeson’s signature growl with mundane dialogue about Time Warner Cable didn’t faze Seth, either.
“I have a very particular set of channels,” he snarled, imitating the Irish actor’s famous threat from the “Taken” franchise. “If you’d like to purchase these channels, I’ll come to your house and install your cable, and that will be the end of it. If you don’t, I will look for you, I will find you and I will kill you.”

Jimmy’s follow-up spin was a lucky one, landing on a celebrity whom he’s imitated publicly numerous times and a subject with which New Yorkers are likely all too familiar.
“What’s the deal with Uber?!” Jimmy shouted in Jerry Seinfeld’s East Coast drawl. “You’re getting into someone else’s car, he’s offering you gum and mints. We’re doing everything we were told not to do as children! We’re literally getting a stranger to lure us into their car with candy! Have we learned nothing, people?!”
Jimmy admitted the secret to his Seinfeld is nothing special – just “a lot of yelling,” he shrugged – but the host did his best to match Seth’s impressive showing. The funnymen finished off the bit with riffs on Bobcat Goldthwait talking about Starbucks, Ray Romano at the movies, and Pee-Wee Herman discussing mirrors, but neither matched the glory of their first round showing.
