Selena Gomez and Vanessa Hudgens were 100 percent committed to their racy roles in the upcoming “Spring Breakers,” leaving director Harmony Korine wowed.
“They were surprisingly really willing,” Harmony told Access Hollywood at the film’s junket in Los Angeles, of former Disney darlings Selena and Vanessa’s comfort with the movie’s adult themes. “I still can’t believe it.
“I guess they were at a point in their life where they just wanted to try stuff [and] do things that were more extreme, a bit more graphic, more adult,” he continued. “They were with me the whole time.”

The movie – which follows four college girls who get bounced from jail by an arms/drug dealer (played by James Franco) after robbing a bank to fund their spring break trip – features a graphic threesome with James, Vanessa and co-star Ashley Benson.
Harmony explained how the trio prepared for filming the intimate scene.
“Before they did their three-ways and stuff, we talked about it [and] figured it out,” he said.
“They all seemed pretty into it [and] turned on by each other, so they went for it!” he added with a laugh.
“Spring Breakers” hits theaters on March 22.
