Former “Party of Five” star Scott Wolf is heading to “Perception.”
Scott has joined the series as a “major recurring guest-star,” according to TNT, which announced the news on Tuesday.
The actor will play Donnie, “a charismatic, fast-rising Assistant U.S. Attorney recently transferred back to Chicago,” according to the network.
Scott’s character is “less concerned with doing what’s right than with what’s right for Donnie. He’s a blue-collar, Irish-Catholic kid from the south side who loves the White Sox. While Donnie claims his transfer back to Chicago was completely random, he has a hidden agenda involving Kate (Rachel Leigh Cook), his soon-to-be ex-wife,” TNT said in a release.
“Perception” stars Eric McCormack as Dr. Daniel Pierce, a neuroscientist and professor who helps the federal government (and Kate) with cases.
“Perception” is gearing up to start production on its second season, premiering summer 2013.
