Surprise! Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes are parents for the
second time!
Just two weeks after Eva’s pregnancy first made headlines, the couple welcomed another daughter on April
29, according to a birth certificate obtained by Access Hollywood.
The little one was born at Providence St. John’s hospital in
Santa Monica, Calif. at 8:03 AM, the document
states, and has been named Amada Lee
Gosling.
Ryan and Eva’s newborn joins 20-month-old big sister
Esmeralda Amada, whose impending arrival the famously private couple also kept under
wraps until just weeks before her birth. The couple has yet to share a photo of either daughter.
The girls’ duplicate names aren’t a coincidence —
“Amada” holds personal resonance for
Eva as it is both her grandmother’s name and the
Spanish word for “beloved.”
