Russell Brand: Thinking About Marriage To Katy Perry

Russell Brand has spent years talking about his lust for the ladies in his stand-up act, but it appears his womanizing days are over.

Russell, 34, told Britain’s “GMTV” host Lorraine Kelly on Monday that he is head over heels for “Waking Up In Vegas” singer Katy Perry, 25.

“I’m ever so happy,” he told the Scottish TV presenter of being in a relationship with the star. “It’s really nice and relaxing to not always be thinking – say for example there’s some ladies here [in the studio] – I’d have to do routine checks.”

The actor and comedian met his ladylove at the MTV VMAs earlier this year, when he hosted the New York City event.

And now that he’s found Katy, Russell said he realizes his dating history was all leading up to his current relationship.

“There was a deep craving within me,” he said. “I mistook it for lust. I thought I was promiscuous. Turns out I was just thorough.”

When asked if the two raven-haired stars might eventually walk down the aisle, Russell’s eyes lit up.

“I don’t know. Get married you say? That would be good,” he said.

And Russell, an only child, revealed he does long for the pitter-patter of little feet in his future.

“I do want to have children. That would be good,” he said.
