It’s official: we’re obsessed
with Jacob Tremblay.
The adorable 9-year-old took home the Critics’ Choice
award Sunday night for Best Young
Actor for his “Room” performance, and celebrated his big win in the
most adorable way.
Jacob posted a video of himself busting a move on the
dance floor to his “favorite jam” (Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars’
“Uptown Funk”) post-award show.
“Celebrating the #criticschoiceawards
to my favorite jam!! Thank-you!!!
#roomthemovie,”
he captioned the clip, posted to his Instagram account early Sunday morning.
Despite rubbing elbows with
some of the biggest stars in Hollywood (Amy Schumer, Rachel McAdams, Jennifer
Aniston, Matt Damon and Helen Mirren, to name a few), Jacob’s favorite
celebrity sighting wasn’t a human.
“My favorite celebrity encounter!! #criticschoice#bb8 #starwars,” he
captioned an Insta vid of himself “Star Wars: The Force Awakens”
droid BB-8.

Jacob also worked a
“Star Wars” reference into his award acceptance speech, telling the
crowd, “I know where to put this: on the shelf, right beside my
Millennium Falcon.”
