Rihanna turned up as a special guest at Jay-Z’s Los Angeles concert on Sunday.
The singer helped out her former record label boss, mentor and collaborator, joining Jay-Z on stage at UCLA’s Pauley Pavilion on “Run This Town,” MTV News reported.
Rihanna gave Jay-Z a hug while on stage, and she shared her joy at being on stage with the crowd, reportedly blowing kisses to the packed arena.
The chanteuse took the stage in black and silver leggings and an asymmetrical jacket, according to the site.
“Los Angeles, make some noise,” the singer said as the crowd erupted in cheers.
While on stage with Jay-Z, Rihanna gave her first public performance of her new single, “Hard” off “Rated R,” due out November 23.
“RiRi, you ready?” Jay-Z reportedly said before she launched into the number.
Rihanna will perform more tracks from her new album in London on November 16 in association with mobile phone giant Nokia. The venue for the show has yet to be announced.
