“Penny Dreadful” has been renewed for another season.
On Tuesday, Showtime announced the Season 3 pick-up of the stylish and scary series from Creator and Executive Producer John Logan.
“John Logan’s brilliant writing and this amazingly talented ensemble continue to draw a passionate, global fan base into the meticulously crafted world of ‘Penny Dreadful,'” Showtime President David Nevins said in a statement. “Together with our wonderful partners at Sky Atlantic, we’re excited to see what new haunts John and his team have in store for season three.”

The third season of the Eva Green, Josh Hartnett and Timothy Dalton-starring series will be made up of nine episodes. Production will once again shoot in Dublin, Ireland, and gets underway this fall.
Season 2 currently airs Sundays at 10 PM ET/PT on the network. The Season finale airs July 5.
