“Orphan Black” gets some new faces for Season 3, “Salem” drops its Season 2 trailer and there’s also news about an authorized Kurt Cobain documentary in AccessHollywood.com’s roundup of TV news.
“Orphan Black”: Justin Chatwin, who wooed Emmy Rossum’s Fiona on “Shameless,” is now set to join the Clone Club for “Orphan Black” Season 3. The actor has lined up a recurring role as Jason Kellerman, described by BBC America as a man with “rugged good looks and street-smarts.” He’s a “savvy drug-dealer in the guise of a charismatic businessman.” James Frain (who is known for everything – “The White Queen,” “True Blood,” and the upcoming “True Detective” Season 2), has also joined the cast as Ferdinand, “a well-educated, ‘cleaner’ who is both charming and intimidating. He’s been described as “a powerful player in a secretive, multi-national political faction that operates with questionable ethics and a ruthless approach.” Also announced on the Season 3 cast are Ksenia Solo as Shay, a new friend to Cosima, and Kyra Harper, who will play ruthless doctor and military adviser, Dr. Coady. Earl Pasoko will play Bulldog, Ferdinand’s bodyguard.

“Salem”: WGN’s supernatural drama “Salem” just dropped the trailer for its second season, which will premiere in April on the network. Watch as Mary Sibley (Janet Montgomery) sits on a throne of branches and gets a little lick from one of her pets before announcing, “time for war.”
“Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck”: Frances Bean Cobain is the Executive Producer of filmmaker Brett Morgen’s authorized documentary, “Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck,” coming to HBO. The film has been described as, “a raw and visceral journey through Cobain’s life and provides no-holds-barred access to Kurt Cobain’s archives, home to his never-before-seen home movies, recordings, artwork, photography, journals, demos, personal archives, family archives and songbooks,” per HBO. Due out in 2015 on the premium cable channel, “Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck,” will also feature Nirvana music, as well as previously unheard original Kurt Cobain songs.
